Ensure Safety of the Elderly
SHMS can help ensure the safety of elderly family members. It can be programmed to conduct a routine check on movement in the house. If no movement is detected, its Alert Autodial function dials the designated number to inform the situation. As the Smart Keypad is interactive, you can directly establish communication with the person.

In situation where an elderly person is left immobile, he or she can trigger a dial-out from a wireless panic devise to inform a designated family member. Again, the two-way communication and listening-in feature will save the situation.

SHMS can be programmed to help you save energy. When you leave home, just arm the system. It will automatically switch off all designated electrical appliances. When power failure occurs, SHMS calls to inform you that the Security system is now running on back-up battery and you can choose to delay your return.

The Digital Answering Machine
SHMS is a smart digital answering machine. It allows callers to leave message for up to 8 different individuals. After a certain preset number of rings, the System answers the call and asks the caller to leave a message.

For example: “If you wish to speak to John Smith, please press 1, press 2 for Pat Smith, press 3 for Ian Smith”.

After the caller leaves a message in the individual voicemail, SHMS calls the particular receiver to inform him to retrieve his message.
