Standard Biometric Access Control System - Optical Fingerprint Reader
For Standard Controller
These Readers are designed to withstand rugged use and are used with the Digitalapps Standard BAC System.
The Readers, to be used with the standard BAC units, when connected to the controller have go/no go lights. The exterior of the two units is metal and the units have high durability.
The fingertip may be placed on the Readers in any position much like a doorbell.
Recognition of the individual is possible, because each person's fingerprints have unique, nontransferable, physical characteristics. In use, the system will be a more convenient and secure method of entry for the user. No cards or keys are necessary.
The data in the Biometric Access Controller is encrypted and the individual's fingerprint image cannot be pirated.
The Reader connects to the Standard BAC controller or enrollment server/administrative PC via a USB port.
The keypad (middle photo) is reserved for use of the buyer - such as a connection to an intercom system.
Connectivity to the door controller is possible up to a distance of 80 feet or 25 meters and requires a series of USB active cables (cables additional).
