| Dr. Yahaya Ibrahim Distance Learning |

Dr. Ibrahim received his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Science Education and Staff Development from University of Southern Illinois, USA. He retired from Malaysian Government service in 1984. He was the President of National Association of Private and Independent Educational Institutions (NAPIEI) Malaysia from 1987 to 1994 and is currently serving as the President of the Malaysian Association of Private Colleges (MAPCO) and Deputy President of American Universities Alumni Malaysia (AUAM). He is currently holding a number of key positions which include being director/governor and chairman of private Malaysian colleges. In recognition of his contribution in the development of education in Malaysia, he was appointed as Pro Chancellor of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris in September 2000.

Dr. Awang received his Masters in Oral Surgery from University of London in 1983 and has been involved in the academic field over 15 years. Prior to setting up his own private practice, he served as Associate Professor in the faculty of Dentistry and Deputy Dean at Malaysia's premier university, University of Malaya. Some of his career highlights include: Publishing about 20 articles in oral surgery in both
local and international journals
